35 years ago today Princess entered the UK singles chart at #60 with After The Love Has Gone.
The song would peak at #28 and spend 13 weeks on the chart.
After The Love Has Gone was the second release from Princess. The follow up to her worldwide smash Say I'm Your Number One and proved that she was no one-hit-wonder. And with a set of irresistible remixes, not least the DJ Bad Mix borrowing from Wally Badarou's instrumental Chief Inspector, she also became a doyenne of dancefloors worldwide.
After The Love Has Gone peaked at #28 in the UK, spending an incredible 13 weeks on the chart. Elesewhere it was a hit across Europe, the US Japan and Australasia.
